How Successful People Sell Themselves (according to Simon Sinek):

-The skill that separates successful people from everybody else is the way they sell themselves: selling their sales pitch by explaining the why or the core belief that drives everything they do (think Apple and Steve Jobs)

-“When we [start with the why], we’re talking directly to the part of the brain that controls behavior…where gut decisions come from.” 

-“The goal is not to sell to people who need what you have. The goal is to sell to people why you believe what you believe…people don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.”
